Culturally-Affirming Care for Jewish Patients
We work with Jewish patients across the spectrum of religious observance, cultural background, and political affiliation.
At Greenlake Psychology, we have lived experience combined with professional knowledge of the unique considerations and mental health issues that impact the Jewish community.
Common issues we see in the Jewish community include generational trauma, anxiety and perfectionism, Jewish identity development, coping with antisemitism and current events, and family conflict. Others prefer simply to know that their therapist implicitly understands their cultural background, without necessarily discussing topics related to their Jewish identity in therapy.
