Clinical Supervision with Dr. Gall

She has provided clinical supervision for over 15 years. She is qualified in the state of Colorado to supervise Psychologist candidates, Marriage and Family Therapist candidates, and Professional Counselor candidates (based on the 2021 updated supervisor requirements). Most of her supervisees are starting out in private or group practice, school counselors wanting to gain clinical training and professional licensure, or clinicians working with children, families, and adults wanting to deepen their systemic, theoretical, and multicultural knowledge and practice.

Her supervisees inform her that she strikes a balance between warm supportiveness and keeping them on their "growth edge" by providing developmentally appropriate feedback. Her supervision style is psychodynamic, systems-oriented, and tailored to your stage of development as a therapist. She is an active supervisor and provide lots of feedback. She wants supervisees to have a solid foundation in the practice of psychotherapy. You will also discuss professional issues, theory, stay up on the current research, legal/ethical, social justice, and self-of-the-therapist issues, with a focus on the supervisor/supervisee relationship.
