Master’s Level Intern, BA
RATE: $95 for 50-minute sessions (accepts Medicaid)
I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Appalachian State University, and I am currently enrolled in the Counseling Psychology Master’s program at the University of Denver. As a clinical intern, it’s important that my therapeutic space provides clients with a warm, inclusive experience where every aspect of my clients’ selves is welcomed. My approach is centered around empowerment, authenticity, and empathy to provide support for my clients throughout their therapeutic journey. I believe that these factors are conducive to change, and provide a strong foundation for my clients to grow and achieve their goals. I pull from a wide range of therapeutic modalities in order to meet my clients where they are. Some of these include psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, feminist therapy, and emotion-focused therapy. I am passionate about supporting adults, couples, families, and kids or teens who are navigating neurodivergence, attachment or relationship issues, identity development, or trauma. Outside of my work as a clinical intern, I am somebody who has many interests! I love to crochet, explore new hiking spots, and I’m always looking for new vinyls to add to my collection.
